(Carlisle, Pa.) - Carlisle SynTec Incorporated, a leading manufacturer of single-ply roofing products and systems for more than 40 years, announced today that its business segment, Hunter Panels, will shortly begin construction of a new, 200,000 square foot polyisocyanurate insulation manufacturing facility located in Smithfield, Pennsylvania. A November ground breaking is scheduled for this sixth Hunter manufacturing facility with plans for the plant to be fully operational by the second quarter of 2006.

Just an hour south of Pittsburgh, Hunter's state-of-the-art manufacturing plant is appropriately positioned to service the mid-western and mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.

Construction of the Pennsylvania facility comes on the heels of the completion of Hunter's most recent plant in Utah - positioning Hunter as a national supplier of Polyiso."

The western Pennsylvania plant will employ approximately 70 production staff, all working to help meet the ever-increasing need for energy-efficient polyisocyanurate insulation for the residential and commercial markets.
