FAMILY FIRST HEALTH BOARD MEMBER NAMED TOP 50 BUSINESSWOMAN IN PENNSYLVANIA BY THE OFFICE OF GOV. EDWARD G. RENDELL

(York, Pa.) - Family First Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center dedicated to providing high quality, affordable care at its sites in York, Lewisberry and Hanover, announces that board member Anne Zerbe will be honored in the 2008 Best 50 Women in Business Awards, an award organized through the office of Gov. Edward G. Rendell. Zerbe attended an awards ceremony May 19 at the Whitaker Center in Harrisburg.

“Whether it’s the founder of a professional development firm, or the partner in charge of a global firm, or the president of a bakery, all of the winners have one thing in common,” Rendell said in a press release. “They’re all hard-working people who are making Pennsylvania a better place to live, work and play.”

A state-wide independent panel of judges picked the winners based on their dedication to business growth, professional and personal accomplishments, community involvement and advocacy for women in business.

Zerbe, an attorney and shareholder at CGA Law Firm in York, specializes in employment law and health care law. She has represented executives and physicians in employment matters.

“Hard work, a supportive family and great teachers have helped me get to where I am today,” Zerbe told the York Daily Record.

Zerbe has been a member of the Board of Directors at Family First Health for seven years. She currently serves as the board’s vice president and is on the organization’s executive and HR committees.

“We appreciate Anne for lending her time and expertise to Family First Health. She has been a great asset to our organization,” said Jennifer Englerth, executive director of Family First Health. “She is truly deserving of this honor.”
