Rick Dapp promoted
to Senior VP
According to Robert Philbin, CEO of HPA, Dapp’s past experience and commitment to the HPA make him the perfect fit for a Senior Vice President position. “Mr. Dapp’s embodies the philosophy of our agency,” said Philbin. “His enthusiasm, creativity and commitment will continue to move this agency and our clients forward.” Prior to his XX long tenure as an Account Executive at HPA, Dapp spent 16 years as marketing executive for AMP Incorporated where he worked as an engineering analyst, business analyst and technical writer. As of November of 2007, Dapp has served on the Dover Area School Board. He is affiliated with Dover C.A.R.E.S (Dover Citizens Actively Reviewing Educations/Economic Strategies), the winner of the 2006 York Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award. Dover C.A.R.E.S, a citizens action group whose mission is to assist in building and maintain a sound education for children and quality of life for all residents in the Dover community has been instrumental in the overwhelming success in the last general election for members of the Dover board. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Dapp earned a Masters in Journalism from Temple University. He has media experience serving as an editor for Commonwealth Communications, a national weekly trade journal with circulation in the United States, Canada, Italy, Northern Europe and Australia.
