POLO MATCH TO BENEFIT THE CENTRAL PA CHAPTER OF NATIONAL MS SOCIETY

The Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society will host a Polo Match at the Hempt Farm Polo Field, in Mechanicsburg, on Saturday, August 18. The field is located across from Cumberland Valley High School, and the gates will open at noon. Festivities begin with Jack Russell Terrier Races at 1:30 p.m., followed by the Polo Match at 3:00 p.m. Admission is $20 per car and proceeds will benefit the local chapter of the MS Society.

Come and enjoy this unique, fun-filled family event as you watch the West Shore Polo Club compete against the Maryland Polo Club in the sport of kings. Join the fun and enter your Jack Russell Terrier in the races prior to the match, and participate in the age-old tradition of stomping the divots at half-time. For safety purposes, muzzles are recommended for all dogs participating in the races, and all dogs must be controlled by leash while not racing.

Pack your picnic baskets and lawn chairs to enjoy a Polo tailgate during the festivities. Watch the beauty and athleticism of the horses and cheer for your favorite team as these skilled equestrians guide their horses to the end zones to score.

The Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's mission is to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis through delivery of programs and services to people with MS. The MS Society has raised and invested millions of dollars in research to find the cause, treatments, and cure for MS. Studies show that early and ongoing treatment with an FDA-approved therapy can reduce future disease activity and improve quality of life for many people with MS. Contact the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at www.nationalmssociety.org/pac or 1-800-227-2108 to learn about ways to help manage multiple sclerosis and about current research that may one day reveal a cure.
