The 16-member Disciplinary Board is an independent agency created by the Supreme Court with complete oversight and investigatory power to review the conduct of Pennsylvania lawyers and assure compliance by all attorneys to the Pennsylvania Rules of Professional Conduct. The Disciplinary Board's goals are to protect the general public, maintain a high standard of integrity in the legal profession, and to safeguard the reputation of the courts in Pennsylvania. The Board is comprised of 14 attorneys from across Pennsylvania and two non-lawyers who meet regularly to review cases, policy and professional personnel matters. Mr. Stewart is a member of the Cumberland County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations, and the National Council of School Attorneys and he serves as solicitor for the Northern York County School District, Camp Hill School District and The New Cumberland Zoning Hearing Board. A graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and Duke University School of Law, Mr. Stewart resides with his wife, Dr. Mary Simmonds and their daugther Anne in New Cumberland, PA. |
