(Harrisburg, Pa.) - The National Civil War Museum will be hosting a community free day at the Museum on Saturday, November 10, which coincides with Veteran's Day weekend. Free admission to the Museum will be available to all, courtesy of Caretti, Inc., PA Area Council of Boys & Girls Club, and the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania. "The Technology Council is pleased to co-host the community day at The National Civil War Museum. It is an excellent way for children and adults to learn more about our nation's history in the most comprehensive museum in the nation. Plus, the day is featuring great updates for leading companies on today's technologies versus 1861 technologies," stated Kelly Lewis, president of the Technology Council. The theme for this community day is: Then and Now: Soldier experiences' in training, technology and daily life. The tentative schedule of events includes:

listing: The National Civil War Museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5:00 p.m. Between April 1 and Labor Day, the Museum is open seven days a week. Admission to the Museum is normally $8.00 for adults, with reduced rates for children, seniors and families.
