HPA BRINGS YORK AND HANOVER SOCIAL SERVICE LEADERS TO MEET WITH STATE OFFICIALS AT FAMILY FIRST HEALTH FOR NATIONAL HEALTH CENTER WEEK 2007

To celebrate National Health Center Week HPA client, Family First Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center, hosted events for legislators, state and local officials, the health and dental community and supporting social service organizations.

Rep. Steven R. Nickol (R-Adams/York) toured the Hanover Center with local media to address the dental crisis that exists in Hanover. HPA arranged a similar York meeting the same week to discuss “York County’s Oral Health Delivery System.” Nearly 100 social service organization leaders heard remarks from local legislators and state officials including Sen. Mike Waugh (R-28), Rep. Eugene DePasquale (D-95) and Estelle Richman, Secretary of the Department of Public Welfare. The events were covered by the York Dispatch, York Daily Record, ABC 27, FOX-43, The Gettysburg Times and the Hanover Evening Sun.

“By using our integrated mix of communications and government relations services," Jamie Fulginiti, Public Relations Coordinator at Hershey Philbin Associates noted, "we were able to provide our client with a wide range of support from policy makers and social service leaders, as well as media interest that resulted in local and regional coverage.”
