BRINGS YORK AND HANOVER SOCIAL SERVICE
LEADERS TO MEET WITH STATE OFFICIALS AT
FAMILY FIRST HEALTH FOR NATIONAL HEALTH
CENTER WEEK 2007
To
celebrate National Health Center Week HPA
client, Family First Health, a Federally
Qualified Health Center, hosted events for
legislators, state and local officials,
the health and dental community and
supporting social service
organizations.
Rep.
Steven R. Nickol (R-Adams/York) toured the
Hanover Center with local media to address
the dental crisis that exists in Hanover.
HPA arranged a similar York meeting the
same week to discuss York
Countys Oral Health Delivery
System. Nearly 100 social service
organization leaders heard remarks from
local legislators and state officials
including Sen. Mike Waugh (R-28), Rep.
Eugene DePasquale (D-95) and Estelle
Richman, Secretary of the Department of
Public Welfare. The events were covered by
the York Dispatch, York Daily Record, ABC
27, FOX-43, The Gettysburg Times and the
Hanover Evening Sun.
