The Living Well With A Disability program is a new, innovative program designed to assist people with disabilities to live well in all aspects of life. The success of the program depended on strong branding and effective communications.

Hershey Philbin Associates developed a comprehensive strategy based on the needs and motivations of the target audiences. Careful analysis was done to create graphics and messaging that would resonate with the target audience and move them to action. After evaluating all potential communication tools, HPA produced a program logo, brochure, TV commercials, Web site, e-newsletter, and banner ads. The agency also conducted extensive public relations efforts: press releases, media interviews, e-invites, and a press conference with over 100 attendees.

The three commercials are airing on WHP21, WHTM27, and FOX43 through September. The media schedule ensures the message will reach 98% of the target audience an average of 10 times.

“We offer a special thanks to HPA who orchestrated the press conference, as well as all the communications materials associated with the launch. We thank them, as they played an important part in making this a reality,” stated Tucker Hill, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center for Independent Living of Central PA.
