York,
Hanover social service leaders meet with
state officials at Family First Health
lunch and learn sessions.
Lunch
and learn sessions were organized in York
and Hanover to provide a forum where
Family First Health could enhance
relationships with social and human
service organizations. These potential
referrers enjoyed lunch, an overview of
services offered by the community health
center and pertinent information impacting
their clients provided by state officials
including Senator Waugh and
representatives from the Departments of
Health and Public Welfare.
"The
lunch and learn sessions were an excellent
opportunity to celebrate National Health
Center Week and were well attended by
organizations who provide services to
residents in need of quality, accessible
and affordable healthcare," Karen Gross
said. "In addition, the lunch and learn
sessions were an effective way to build
the new Family First Health brand with
this important audience."
