Web
Site design targeting a broad base of
socio-economic and ethnic
backgrounds
The
client needed an edgy, teen-oriented web
site design committed to assisting women
in crisis pregnancies by providing free
and compassionate, practical and
life-affirming alternatives to
abortion.
The
research that went into this project was
extensive, covering everything from the
proper technical jargon surrounding STD's
to a creative platform appealing to
teenagers, but limited in its bells &
whistles by taking into account its broad
economic reach.
For
example, "A pulsating, interactive web site,
although appealing to the mass audience in
premise, would be inaccessible to a
sizable portion of the audience due to
hardware constraints, therefore defeating
its purpose," Victoria Radabaugh
said.
